Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Required Skills/Experience:
2 years experience in tele/stepdown.

Special Requests:

Unit Details:
Common patient population includes ETOH, DKA, heart failure, sepsis, stroke, GI surgery, GU surgery, and joint replacements.
RNs are required to titrate drips including insulin, heparin, amiodarone, and cardizem.
Monitor techs are available; RNs must read their own strips. Uses GE monitors.
Charge nurse/NSM does not take patients.
Unit aides are available; ratio varies.
Uses CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
Weekend requirements vary.
Holiday requirements vary.
No call.

Floating Requirements:
This is a float pool position, so they will float to MedSurg and Tele.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
