Lhoist North America , a leading supplier of lime, limestone, and mineral products across the North American marketplace, is seeking a motivated Bulk Loader/General Plant Laborer to join the team at their Marble Falls, TX location. This is a critical role that will be responsible for loading rail cars and trucks. If you have at least 3 years of experience as a Bulk Loader or in a related position in an industrial plant or manufacturing environment and a high school diploma or equivalent , Lhoist would love to speak with you! DuPont Schedule : Hours will rotate between 7:00am – 7:00pm and 7:00pm – 7:00am. Essential duties/responsibilities: Demonstrate the ability to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of truck and rail traffic. Prior to loading product, inspect truck trailers and railcars to ensure they are free from containments. Ensure different product types are distributed into the appropriate trucks/rail cars and the proper weight is loaded for each shipment. Familiar with different silo product types. Complete bill of lading for truck and rail shipments. Inventory Control Maintain accurate silo inventory measurements. Training Participate in company-sponsored training and certification programs Training of new employees on equipment related to load out area. Cross train in other areas as needed. Troubleshoot and maintain variable speed drives. Maintenance and Quality Control Keep rail and truck scales clean. Responsible for maintaining a water free environment from rail pit and scales. Ability to make minor adjustments to load-out related equipment. Complete daily equipment check reports. Assist daily in plant cleanup of production areas. Safety Must be well versed on all aspects of safety. Comply with company, state, and governmental health and safety regulations at all times. Complete and document Workplace Inspections in a timely manner. Perform all assigned work adhering to Company and governmental safety rules and regulations, including company lock out tag out procedures. Ability to operate heavy equipment including shuttle wagon, front end loader, forklift, bobcat, and tractor in a safe manner. Safe Quality Food (SQF) Ensure a SQF workplace and follow regulatory compliance with Federal FDA – Food Modernization Safety Act (CFR Code of Federal Regulations Title 21, Part 507). Support Environmental Health and Safety, as well as SQF initiatives and awareness programs. Be a leader and promoter of employee safety and SQF culture. Following completion of SQF training, demonstrate understanding of expected safety, SQF performance and Food Safety Culture. Complete periodic SQF training(s). Each site location will ensure training is conducted for new employees and continued for existing employees. Employees will actively participate in audits for regulatory, safety, SQF and environmental compliance at the site.
