Garver is seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager to join our growing team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We are looking for high achievers looking to grow and develop their career with us through our technical and professional development programs and diverse career opportunities. Responsibilities: * Manage successful completion of projects. * Direct and coordinate work for individuals or multidiscipline teams. * Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently. * Establish and maintain client relations with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), NTTA and similar clients, and be involved with marketing and contractual negotiations. * Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule. * Implement QA/QC procedures. * Supervise project staff and act as mentor for less-experienced engineers and Project Managers. * Perform other duties as needed. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program * Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) * Minimum of Ten (10) years of relevant Roadway experience (TxDOT preferred). * Practical working knowledge of the TxDOT Roadway Design Manual and the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (TMUTCD) as well as other TxDOT Design manuals and processes. * Strong working knowledge of MicroStation (Geopak, OpenRoads, OpenRoads Designer). * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong working knowledge of MS Office Preferred Requirements: * Previous roadway design experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on TxDOT (or other DOT) or Municipal transportation projects. * TxDOT Pre-Certs. * TxDOT Dallas and/or FTW contacts. * 3D Design experience.
