Mental Health Therapist Profession: Mental Health Therapist Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Typically days, 5x8s Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 5 years clinical experience with 2 years in a comparable job position License: Must possess appropriate certification or licensing in the state of practice (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) Certifications: Must hold BLS certification Must-Have: - Patient Assessment - Mental Health Screening - Treatment Planning - Clinical Documentation - Confidentiality Management Description: The successful candidate should be able to perform all functions consistent with the actual job performance requirements. Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on a review of available records and clinical interviews. Provide treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on an evaluation of needs and level of functioning. Document treatment and evaluation activities in the health care record for each patient seen. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques by way of treatments and activities used for individuals in the caseload. Provide appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address the needs of individuals.
