Job Description:

Full-time M-F (8am-4:30pm) with one Saturday a month

Clarion OB Department

Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient and outpatient lactation support and conduct newborn weight checks

• Teach childbirth and breastfeeding education classes one Saturday per month with a flex day off

Qualifications:

• RN Preferred

• Current Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS) credential at hire

• BLS and AVADE certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire

• Requires NRP, PALS and ACLS or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire

• International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) preferred; required within3-5 years of hire
