Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students in a dynamic educational setting near Mission Viejo, CA. This full-time, on-site contract position involves supporting schools as part of medical leaves, with anticipated start dates in mid-October and mid-November. You'll engage with a diverse student population, tailoring your intervention skills to make a tangible difference in young lives. Specific school assignments and caseload details will be provided closer to your start date, offering flexibility and variety in your daily work.

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

• A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• An active California SLP license
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary educational teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Adaptability to manage responsibilities at multiple school sites, if needed

Key responsibilities include:

• Evaluating and treating students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records
• Consulting with families, teachers, and support staff to enhance students’ academic success
• Participating in IEP meetings and presenting assessment findings and therapeutic recommendations
• Supporting a positive and inclusive school environment
