Location: Des Peres, Missouri (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract
Role Overview
The Sr. Service Support Specialist assists with business development and growth by responding to inquiries from clients, Financial Advisors, and internal associates. This role provides solutions and alternatives through telephone and written correspondence. The objective is to deliver accurate, complete, and timely service, partnering with the firm to facilitate business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide solutions and alternatives in response to incoming telephone calls and written correspondence.
- Work independently and demonstrate resourcefulness within a team environment.
- Utilize sound judgment, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
- Partner with Financial Advisors to develop business plans and deliver on a client service model.
- Support marketing strategies, including maintaining digital and social media platforms and planning client events.
- Engage in training and education programs to stay current on firm policies, procedures, and new platforms.
- Perform administrative duties such as telephone coverage, travel arrangements, and calendar maintenance.
- Proactively participate in firm initiatives as directed by local management.
Required Qualifications
Education: A high school education is required.
Experience: At least 3 years of call center experience is necessary. Experience working in a high-volume contact center is required. Prior customer service experience is also needed.
Technical Skills: Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products are required. Proficient typing skills are necessary. The ability to leverage different technology systems is also a requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
- A college degree is beneficial.
- A background in the financial services industry is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $35.00 and $37.28 per hour.
