Step into a rewarding contract role supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher in the vibrant Denver area. This onsite position focuses on creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment for children, with a particular emphasis on serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Work full-time, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week), following the 8:15am to 3:25pm school bell schedule. You will be assigned to one school with the opportunity to make a profound impact for the academic year, starting as soon as possible and concluding at the end of May 2027.

What We're Looking For:

• Active Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) teaching certification required
• Previous experience working with students on the Autism spectrum in a school setting is highly preferred
• Demonstrated capability to manage and support elementary-aged students in a special education classroom
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere
• Willingness to complete a background check as part of onboarding

Role Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) to address diverse student needs
• Lead and manage all classroom activities for elementary special education students
• Collaborate with fellow educators, specialists, and families to support student progress
• Monitor, document, and report on student growth and behavior
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations
• Adapt instructional strategies to provide meaningful, accessible learning experiences for all
