Monitor Technician
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19140 Duration: 13 weeks contract Shift: 5x8 hours Nights, Possible rotating as per need, 40hrs/week
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret patient telemetry rhythms and promptly report rhythm changes.
- Track telemetry equipment, maintain monitoring supplies, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuous cardiac monitoring and patient safety.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited Cardiac Arrhythmia course required.
- Must pass a basic arrhythmia/rhythm interpretation competency test.
- 1 year of hospital or related healthcare experience required.
- Medical Assistant and/or EKG Technician training preferred.
