Travel CT Technologist – Night Shift

Location: Lexington, KY
Shift: Nights | Monday–Thursday | 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts | 40 hours/week

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Lexington, Kentucky. This is an excellent opportunity to work a consistent overnight schedule with no weekend, call, or float responsibilities while providing high-quality CT imaging services in a patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
• Verify patient identity, medical history, and imaging orders before procedures.
• Administer contrast media and perform peripheral IV insertion when required.
• Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles.
• Complete image post-processing and ensure accurate PACS documentation.
• Assist radiologists during CT-guided procedures as needed.
• Perform equipment quality control, daily warm-up procedures, and routine maintenance checks.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from a JRCERT-accredited Radiology Program (or military equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience
• Current ARRT (R) certification
• Current ARRT (CT) certification
• Active Kentucky Radiation License
• Current BLS Certification
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
