Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services.

Additional Details:

ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the Trauma Level designation (if any)

Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.

Required Skills/Experience: Ability to use Philips ultrasound systems. Outpatient, biopsies, AS reporting. Baseline vascular needed for ER patients. Community hospital experience is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: IV starts. Neonate patient age group experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network - must have left in good status, if former employee.

Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. 4 rooms with 3 Philips units and 1 GE; 1 room covers complex vascular cases. Department staffed 24/7 and covers outpatient, inpatient, and ER case loads. High volume of breast work, including biopsies; covers paracentesis, thoracentesis, and FNA. Variety of general ultrasound exams, including outpatient appointments on weekends. No procedures Sat or Sun. No radiologist in house on weekends, but coverage is 24/7 from a larger sister site.

Shift & Scheduling: No call required. Weekend schedule: Fri - Sun as regular day shifts, 12 hrs.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
