Amusement Game and Vending Technician

About Us: United Vending Service is a locally family owned and operated company established in 1985 to fill the needs of Central New York. We currently service a wide range of vending and amusement equipment accounts, both large and small. Each location is serviced in the same professional manner our customers have come to expect from us. United Vending Service specializes in ATM's, amusement and arcade games, bulk, snack and beverage vending. We are seeking an Amusement Game and Vending Machine Technician to join our team. Our Ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated and reliable team player with a willingness to learn and improve on their current skill set.

Responsibilities

 Install, repair, and maintain all equipment

 Perform on-site service and repairs at customer locations.

 Provide over the phone technical support to team members on location.

 Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all equipment.

 Read and interpret schematics, manuals and diagrams to troubleshoot and diagnose machine issues.

 Maintain an organized, professional, and clean environment in the shop, parts room, and on location.

Qualifications & Requirements

 1-2 years previous mechanical and electrical experience required.

 At least 2 years of trade or technical schooling in a related field preferred.

 Must have basic knowledge of electronics and electricity.

 Familiarity using tools such as digital multi meters, soldering irons, hand tools, and other standard tools of the trade.

 Working knowledge of various computer software programs, and ability to learn new programs efficiently.

 Experience with amusement games and vending machines a plus.

 Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

 Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

 Frequent bending, turning, shifting, kneeling, walking and lifting.
