Lead Baker

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys handson baking without decorating or customer interaction.
Lead Baker position would be Monday 6PM -10PM Tuesday - Friday 12PM-10PM
Responsibilities
- Bake all core products: cakes, cupcakes, cookies, pastries, and specialty items.
- Mix, scale, and prepare batters, doughs, fillings, and frostings according to bakery recipes.
- Monitor ovens, proofers, and timers to ensure consistent quality and doneness.
- Maintain daily production schedules and meet volume requirements.
- Rotate products, manage freshness, and follow foodsafety standards.
- Keep baking equipment, tools, and workstations clean and organized.
- Assist with inventory of baking ingredients and communicate shortages.
Requirements
- Commercial baking experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of baking science, scaling, and production flow.
- Ability to work afternoons and weekends.
- Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
Certification
- Food Handler or ServSafe Certification required (or willing to obtain upon hire).
