Clinical Shift Schedule:

- Office hours 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

- Procedure hours 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

On-Call Shift Schedule: 24-hour call coverage with weekday and weekend call responsibilities

Call Type: Beeper

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Adults

Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 15-20 patients per day

Case Mix: Gastrointestinal conditions including IBS, GERD, colitis, ulcers, gallbladder disease, and related disorders

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: Epic

Office Equipment Available: Standard GI procedural equipment

Specialty Backup Available: Anesthesia support for procedures

Support Staff Available: NP, LPN, procedural support staff

Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Temporary Privileges Available: Not Specified

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active NY License required

Board: Board Certified required

DEA: Not Specified

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience

Other Qualifications: Epic experience required; strong communication skills; continuous work history with no significant gaps

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care

Perform endoscopic procedures including upper and lower scopes

Manage and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions

Participate in 24-hour call coverage including weekends

Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
