Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical issues through imaging analysis and lab test interpretation
• Work intimately with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical plans for patients
• Provide critical intraoperative assistance, ensuring the operating rooms are prepared, patient positioning is correct, and surgical tools are appropriately managed during procedures
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Educational Background

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practice is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
