Investment Funds Attorney - Fund Formation

A leading international law firm is looking to appoint an attorney into its Investment Funds practice, with a particular focus on fund formation. The would be suited to a candidate who wants to build deep technical expertise in a specialist practice area without the demands of business development. The role can be based out of the firm's New York or Chicago offices, with a hybrid working arrangement available.

The successful candidate will bring three to six years of relevant experience, ideally gained at a top-tier international or national law firm, and will be comfortable drafting and negotiating fund organisational documents and investor side letters alongside a broad range of commercial real estate transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leasing arrangements, financing documentation and joint venture agreements. Exposure to secondaries transactions would be viewed favourably, though is not essential. A J.D. and admission to practice in the relevant state are required
