Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides skilled nursing services to patients in their homes during the end of life process in accordance with physician orders. This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about helping patients live their final days with dignity, peace, and comfort while supporting families through every step of the journey.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments including physical, emotional, and mental needs
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the end of life process
• Provide compassionate care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs in delivering nursing services
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Preferred minimum of one year nursing experience within the last five years
• Hospice or home health experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in computer skills and clinical documentation
• Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate patient needs
