Client Relationship Consultant We are looking for candidates with 1+ year experience in retail banking or equivalent training. This role has three levels. The successful candidate will be hired at a level that matches their experience. Responsibilities Build and sustain strong client relationships via in‑person, appointment and virtual channels. Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, obtain and process their information, and recommend deposit and loan products that align with their goals. Engage proactively with clients through outreach, follow‑up, and needs assessment. Maintain current knowledge of consumer and business banking products, including digital offerings. Provide a consistent high‑quality client experience, greeting clients and processing transactions. Partner with branch team members to create collaborative solutions. Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests and submit credit applications. Leverage digital resources and technology to optimize the client experience and deliver operational excellence. Maintain National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration and comply with all regulatory requirements. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1–2 years experience for Level1; 3–4 years for Level2; 4–5 years for Level3 (or equivalent training). Proven ability to build and nurture client relationships through proactive outreach. Strong communication and customer‑service skills. Basic knowledge of bank policies, procedures and support systems. Experience demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies. Ability to identify and recommend solutions that meet customer needs. Familiarity with retail banking products; experience in sales campaigns and promotions preferred for higher levels. Experience in financial services industry preferred. Location Expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location on all scheduled workdays. Locations include Chandler and Gilbert.
