Certified Surg Tech - Full Time

Certified Surgical TechnologistJackson HealthPros is hiring an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist for a permanent role with a local hospital in Manhattan, KS where you will expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. You will ensure the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.Minimum Requirements:Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent certification preferred (NCCT acceptable).BLS Certification required (AHA or ARC).Orthopedic surgical experience required, with familiarity using Zimmer and Arthrex systems.Minimum experience: 1 year as a Certified Surgical Technologist in an OR setting preferred; orthopedic-specific experience required as noted above.Willingness to float to Sterile Processing Department (SPD) occasionally to assist with instrument processing and storage.Shift & Scheduling:Day shifts. Typical start times: 0600–0630 depending on first case start time.Shift lengths available: 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts. Example schedules: 8-hour (0630–1500), 10-hour (0630–1630), 12-hour (0600–1800).Full- and part-time positions with weekly options: 28, 32, 36, and 40 hours per week.No required weekends. No mandatory holiday work. Seven paid holidays for eligible staff.No on-call requirement. Volunteers may be requested for after-hours return to OR if needed.Call-off due to low surgery volume occurs; staff are typically notified the afternoon prior.Benefits:Seven paid holidays for eligible full- and part-time staff.Permanent placement with local hospital; recruiter support available.Manhattan, KS offers a balanced mix of outdoor recreation and cultural amenities.
