Job Opportunity – Critical Care Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 8 or 12-hour shifts, 1900-0730, with every other weekend and some holidays. Four 12-hour shifts per week available if preferred. Block scheduling available to accommodate preferences.

• Autonomy and flexibility across multiple critical care environments including Neuro ICU, Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery ICU, Medical-Surgical ICU, and Intermediate/Progressive Care
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Academic learning environment supporting shared governance and professional development
• 3:1 patient ratios for both day and night shifts
• 28 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

• Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in critical care specialty
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Competency in multiple ICU specialties including experience with adult and geriatric populations
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation experience; must pass telemetry competency exam prior to start date
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Core clinical skills including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, CRRT/CVVHD, arterial line management, central line care, and cardiac monitoring
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
