About This Role The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes. This role is ideal for those who are dedicated to providing effective direct care and coordinating patient care among nursing peers and support services. Highlights Location: Brick, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team. Implement age and disease-specific care in an organized manner. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Adhere to American Nurses Association Code for Nurses. Requirements Education BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire. Experience Six (6) or more months of nursing experience required. One (1) or more years of nursing experience strongly preferred. Licenses & Certifications Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required.
