Nephrology Medical Director

Benefis Health System, a regional tertiary trauma center in Great Falls, Montana, is seeking a Nephrology Medical Director to join their established practice. This role involves providing comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic kidney conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Practice Info Multispecialty group practice Current team includes 1 Nephrologist (departing), 1 Nurse Practitioner, and support staff Clinic is located within a 3-minute walk of the inpatient hospital floors and can be accessed by a skybridge Epic electronic medical record and good clinical support staffing structures Standalone, financially stable, not-for-profit health system Regional tertiary center with robust specialty support including neurosurgery, pulmonology, neurology, endocrinology, rheumatology, advanced gastroenterology, cardiothoracic, and more Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic kidney conditions Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across inpatient and outpatient settings Practice all aspects of nephrology including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and CRRT Work closely with hospitalists, intensivists, interventional radiologists, and other specialists to manage complex cases Teach and mentor internal medicine residents and medical students Compensation Nationally competitive compensation structures with guaranteed salaries + productivity and performance bonuses Generous sign-on / relocation bonus Annual $5,000 CME + $1,000 license/dues 5-7% retirement match + 457b program Paid malpractice + tail Benefits 8 weeks paid time off (6 PTO, 2 CME) Physician wellness programs focused on personal and professional development Monthly meetings with highest-level physician and administrative leadership to bring ideas forward and solve issues Shift & Schedule Call 1 in 3 with an average hospital census of 8-16 patients Requirements J-1 visa sponsorship available
