Intellectual Property Attorney (Patent Litigation)

Overview Established premier business law firm seeking experienced patent litigation attorney to join our New York office. Responsibilities Handle all aspects of patent litigation—from pre‑suit investigations through trial preparation—including discovery, motion practice, depositions, expert reports, and trial prep. Work directly with partners and clients across a range of technology sectors, supporting IP counseling and enforcement strategies. Collaborate with cross‑practice teams on complex commercial and technology matters. Qualifications 2+ years of patent litigation experience at a law firm or equivalent setting. Technical background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable technology experience. Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear legal arguments. USPTO registration is a plus but not required. Admission to at least one U.S. state bar required. Compensation & Benefits Salary $160,000 - $250,000 per year.
