Job Description

​​​​​​​This will be a full-time, part-time, or seasonal delivery driver position with Spelman Logistics, Inc. You will be responsible for delivering packages on behalf of our client.

*IMMEDIATE WEEKEND OPENINGS AVAILABLE!*** Location : 425 South Cherry Street, Wallingford, CT 06042

• Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle
• Use company provided mobile device for routing information, customer delivery information
• Execute routes throughout delivery area
• Individually Load and unload packages to be delivered
• Lift packages up to 50 lbs
• 8 to 10-hour shift (w/30 min unpaid lunch)
• Weekends required (at least 1 weekend day required by all)
• 10 hour shift

Qualifications

Requirements of a Delivery Driver:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Driver's License ( Required )
• Successfully handle and deliver packages (up to 50 lbs) in a timely manner
• Able to get in and out of the van and walk up and down stairs throughout your shift
• Must be comfortable driving and working in all weather conditions 
• Must pass a Drug Screening
• Clean motor vehicle report
• Tech literacy to utilize the Android mobile delivery device 
• Ability to Commute to Wallingford, CT (Required)

• Pay starts at $23.25/hr (paid weekly)
• 4-day work week for full time/3 day work week for part-time

• Requirements of Delivery Driver:
