About the Role The role oversees day-to-day HR operations, onboarding, and employee experience programs to support a rapidly scaling distributed team. The specialist will streamline people processes and manage the core HR tech stack to ensure high operational efficiency and compliance. This position acts as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll coordination, and company policies, ensuring a seamless and supportive employee lifecycle from pre-boarding to offboarding. Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize the HRIS (Rippling), ensuring high data integrity, accurate record-keeping, and seamless integration with downstream systems. Own the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, including background checks, hardware provisioning coordination, and conducting weekly welcome sessions. Administer employee benefits programs, including open enrollment, billing reconciliation, and addressing complex employee benefits inquiries. Partner with finance and external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely semi-monthly payroll processing and compliance reporting. Maintain and update the employee handbook, internal wiki pages, and compliance posters to reflect current state and federal labor laws across multiple US jurisdictions. Analyze people data and build monthly dashboards tracking key metrics such as headcount growth, turnover, and onboarding feedback trends. What We Are Looking For 2-4 years of experience in People Operations, HR Administration, or a similar human resources role, preferably within a fast-paced technology company. Demonstrated hands‑on experience managing modern HRIS platforms (such as Rippling, BambooHR, or Workday) and ticketing systems. Strong knowledge of US employment law, benefits administration, and multi‑state compliance requirements. Exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record of handling sensitive, confidential employee data with high discretion. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
