As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will serve as a recognized technical authority, driving end-to-end design and development of complex equipment, mechanical subsystems, and fixtures — from early research and development concepts through to production readiness. You will independently identify technical challenges, deliver designs that meet industry standards and safety codes, own Bills of Materials and Engineering Change Order releases, and guide architectural decisions for high-temperature, vacuum, and thin-film processing systems. Acting as a senior advisor, you will mentor peers and contribute technical direction across cross-functional teams.Who You AreMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field 5+ years of engineering experience with a significant focus on equipment or tool development or modificationPreferred QualificationsDemonstrated proficiency with CAD software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorksSolid understanding of engineering calculations encompassing stress analysis, thermal analysis, material compatibility, and load analysisExperience designing or building ALD (Atomic Layer Deposition), PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition), or similar semiconductor and thin-film deposition equipmentHands-on knowledge of vacuum systems, thermal systems, and precision mechanical designAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiencesProven track record of managing and presenting designs, project timelines, and cost estimates while resolving technical risksUS Pay Range for this position: $132,400-$198,600The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
