Join a leading law firm serving closely held business owners in Salt Lake City. This role focuses on delivering tailored tax, estate, and business succession planning strategies to an established, relationship-driven client base.
This is a planning-focused position with no litigation. The ideal attorney enjoys drafting documents, advising clients, and helping families and business owners preserve wealth across generations.WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Advise closely held business owners on tax and estate planning strategies
• Develop and implement comprehensive business succession plans
• Minimize client tax liabilities through strategic planning
• Draft wills, trusts, partnership agreements, and related legal documents
• Answer client questions and provide ongoing legal guidance
• Monitor changing tax laws and maintain complianceWHAT YOU WILL BRING
• JD from an accredited law school
• Active State Bar admission
• 2-3+ years of tax and estate planning experience for business owners
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and provide practical, client-focused advicePreferred
• Experience serving closely held businesses and multi-generational clients
• Interest in long-term advisory relationships rather than business development or sales-focused workCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
