Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Providing therapy services to individuals, couples, and families undergoing outpatient treatment, delivering support through various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and family systems therapy.

  • Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health, relational dynamics, and relevant histories, using tools and methods appropriate for a diverse range of backgrounds.

  • Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that promote healing and growth, helping clients set actionable and measurable goals.

  • Facilitating therapy sessions, utilizing techniques to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships.

  • Offering immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health issues, ensuring their safety and well-being.

  • Keeping detailed records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, maintaining compliance with HIPAA and other relevant legal standards.

  • Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and peer support specialists, to create comprehensive care strategies for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families experiencing challenges related to communication, anxiety, depression, divorce, trauma, and addiction issues. Your insights into family dynamics will play a crucial role in helping clients understand their relationships and emotions, fostering a greater sense of connection and support.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.

  • A master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
