Warehouse Associate / Forklift

Material Handler / Equipment OperatorThe Material Handler / Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient operation and servicing of mechanical, motorized, and electrical equipment within the facility. This role ensures the accurate and timely movement of goods while supporting overall logistics, material handling, and distribution operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and hand trucks in a safe and efficient mannerPerform routine inspections and basic servicing of equipment to ensure proper functionalitySafely move materials and products to and from designated locations within the facilityLoad and unload shipments while maintaining product integrityFollow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environmentMaintain accurate inventory movement and material trackingSupport warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shippingEnsure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or lossCollaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goalsKnowledge & SkillsBasic understanding of logistics, supply chain, and material handling processesKnowledge of distribution and transportation proceduresAbility to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectivelyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to follow instructions and adhere to safety standardsEffective communication and teamwork skillsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferredPrevious experience operating forklifts or similar equipment preferredForklift certification (if required by facility)Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required by the roleAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentWork EnvironmentWarehouse or distribution center settingExposure to moving machinery and varying temperaturesRequires standing, walking, lifting, and operating equipment for extended periods
