Assistant Store Manager

Compensation Pay Range: $18.21 - $24.50. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and premiums that may be paid in amounts per hour under specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers. Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including execution of customer service programs. Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak business hours. Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback, coaching/mentoring team members, and ensuring ongoing training. Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management to select qualified team members. Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy. Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub-to-store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner and customers are contacted upon shipment arrivals as needed. Utilize the electronic outside purchase order ledger to handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and in accordance with procedure. Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendly, issue refunds accurately, and properly handle returned merchandise. Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before product leaves the store. Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned. Ensure team members comply with company policies, schedule approvals, and clock in/out appropriately. Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day-end procedures, securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, ensuring security lights are on, locking doors, arming/disarming security alarms, and securing delivery vehicles. Assist the store manager in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, computer hardware, in-store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles. All other duties as assigned. SKILLS / EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / ABILITIES Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, and RSS Certification. Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification, ASE Certification. Fluency in multiple languages; Spanish is highly desired. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $18.21 - $24.50 per hour.
