Phlebotomist

This position involves performing blood collections from patients of all ages in a patient service setting. Duties include specimen handling, data entry, billing, and customer service, with occasional travel to additional sites. Work Schedule Monday – Friday 4:30am – 1:00pm, rotating Saturday and Sunday 4:30am – 9:00am. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or ≥3 months of phlebotomy experience. Preferred Qualifications ≥2 years of phlebotomy experience with all age patients. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, phlebotomy certification or a completed training program must be from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation.Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
