Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active New York SLP license or eligibility
• Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those holding CCC-SLP
• Passion for working with elementary-aged children in an educational environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Commitment to working on-site throughout the assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and maintain documentation per school and state guidelines
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations for student goals
• Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive therapy environment
• Support students in developing communication, articulation, and language skills
• Remain current with best practices and school-based procedures
