Role Overview: Conducts mammography procedures in accordance with standards and organizational policies, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging. Key Responsibilities Reviewing patient history, scheduling, and educating patients about procedures. Preparing and administering contrast media or medications within scope. Assisting physicians with interventional procedures like fine needle aspiration. Preparing equipment, selecting imaging parameters, and performing quality control. Positioning patients, capturing images, analyzing results, and troubleshooting imaging issues. Maintaining safety standards and ensuring compliance with MQSA regulations. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Registered RT and certified in Mammography (ARRT-M), or ARRT-R plus provisional registration. State licensure if required, and BLS certification. Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Health Here
