Quality Control ScientistThe Quality Control Scientist supports manufacturing by conducting analysis on raw and finished materials and maintains quality control and assurance of products and compliance within internal departments.Duties/Responsibilities:Perform testing on incoming materials and finished goods.Draft written reports detailing results of testing analysis.Approve release of raw materials and finished goods.Operate various laboratory equipment.Perform peer reviews of laboratory work.Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMP guidelines.Ensure compliance with all NADAs/ANADAs.Ensure that assigned products meet quality requirements for the customer and the company.Audit manufacturing and warehouse departments to ensure cGMP and quality standards.Participate in any Research and Development projects as needed.Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Thorough understanding of chemical tests and processesUnderstanding and proficiency in basic laboratory techniquesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in a team settingAbility to multitask and prioritizeAttention to detailProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelFamiliarity with SAP Business One preferredEducation and Experience:Bachelor's of Science in Biology, Chemistry, or related fieldTwo years of related experience, preferably in quality controlPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods standingExposure to various chemicals and compounds
