Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | 40 hours/week
Additional Hours: Occasional after-hours support may be required

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to support and maintain critical technology infrastructure for an established organization in Colorado Springs.

This position will focus on administering business-critical application servers, supporting SQL databases, managing application configurations, and maintaining automation processes that contribute to reliable daily operations.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience managing complex server environments, and the ability to independently support essential business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot multiple business-critical application servers.

• Manage and support associated SQL databases to ensure system reliability and performance.

• Oversee application configurations, system administration activities, and ongoing maintenance.

• Support application automation processes to improve efficiency and maintain consistent system functionality.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving servers, databases, and applications.

• Monitor system performance and address operational issues as needed.

• Collaborate with internal IT teams and stakeholders to support technology needs and resolve system-related challenges.

• Provide occasional after-hours technical support when required.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

• Strong professional experience in systems administration, preferably supporting business-critical applications.

• Hands-on experience administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting application servers.

• Working knowledge of SQL databases and related administration or support functions.

• Experience with application configuration, maintenance, and automation processes.

• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and technical problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to independently manage multiple systems, troubleshoot issues, and prioritize competing responsibilities.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical teams and internal stakeholders.

• Comfortable working in an environment where system reliability and operational continuity are essential.

Work Environment & Expectations

This is an on-site position in Colorado Springs , following a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.

The selected candidate will support critical technology systems and should be comfortable responding to occasional after-hours technical needs.

The assignment is expected to last approximately six months, with the possibility of an extension depending on business needs.
