CAD & Design Systems Manager - Mission Critical Infrastructure

CAD & Design Systems Manager Location: Dallas, TX or Remote We are seeking a CAD & Design Systems Manager to support the design and delivery of Building Automation (BAS/BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring (EPMS) systems for mission-critical and data center facilities. This role will serve as the technical leader for AutoCAD standards, drawing production, engineering documentation, and quality control processes across a growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and maintaining control system drawings, wiring schematics, panel layouts, and engineering standards within mission‑critical, data center, controls, or electrical engineering environments. Responsibilities Develop and maintain company‑wide AutoCAD standards, templates, and engineering documentation practices. Standardize control drawings, panel layouts, one‑lines, wiring diagrams, and schematic packages. Manage drawing libraries, symbols, blocks, and reusable design content. Perform QA/QC reviews of engineering deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency. Support engineering teams with AutoCAD workflows and best practices. Improve drawing production efficiency through standardization and process improvements. Coordinate with engineering, project management, and field teams throughout project execution. Support BAS, BMS, and EPMS design efforts for mission‑critical and data center projects. Qualifications 5+ years of CAD management, CAD administration, or engineering design experience. Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical. Experience developing engineering drawing standards and documentation procedures. Experience with wiring diagrams, control schematics, panel layouts, and electrical drawings. Experience supporting BAS, BMS, EPMS, controls, electrical, or MEP engineering teams. Strong QA/QC and document control experience. Preferred Experience Mission Critical or Data Center project experience. Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS).
