About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its Executive Leadership Team. The CFO will be a strategic partner, providing oversight of the organization's financial operations and ensuring its fiscal health. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the company's mission and growth objectives. The CFO will lead financial planning, budgeting, and risk management, and will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and transparency of all financial activities. Additionally, the CFO will serve as the primary financial representative to external stakeholders and will champion a culture of data-driven decision-making and financial accountability. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting (Master's preferred) and at least 7-10 years' experience in financial management, with a strong background in GAAP. A CPA license is preferred, and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in nonprofit financial management, including grant compliance and fund accounting. The CFO must have experience working with Boards of Directors and Finance/Audit Committees, and demonstrate success in strategic financial planning and organizational leadership. Essential skills include the ability to translate complex financial data into strategic insights, strong project management, and a commitment to the mission and values of the organization. The role requires a hands-on approach, high level of self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, diverse environment.
