Role Overview Under the general direction of the Branch Chief, this Analyst II provides administrative, training, and analytical support for Workers’ Compensation and Return‑to‑Work / Reasonable Accommodation / FMLA programs. Responsibilities include developing training materials, researching regulatory issues (ADA, FEHA, FMLA, CFRA), managing cases, facilitating sensitive discussions, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Minimum Requirements Eligibility determined by the Analyst II exam; if not already eligible, must be on the state examination list. Minimum education and experience as specified in the Classification Specification. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply laws and regulations such as ADA, FEHA, FMLA, and CFRA. Desirable Qualifications Experience managing complex OA or FMLA cases, facilitating sensitive discussions, and prior supervisory experience in a related program.
