Hiredesk Resource Planner

Overview We have an exciting opportunity for a Hire Desk Resource Planner to join our Head Office in Carlisle. We are looking for someone who embodies our values of being hardworking, grounded and proud of the work they do. As Hire Desk Resource Planner, you will play a key role in supporting our operational teams by managing the hire desk inbox, coordinating the hire of external plant and equipment and resolving a wide range of queries from internal customers and suppliers. You will act as a central point of contact, helping to find solutions quickly, manage expectations and ensure plant requirements are met efficiently. You will liaise with a variety of suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring orders are raised and administered in line with company systems and processes. You will also investigate and resolve plant, delivery, collection and invoice queries, maintaining accurate records and providing a high standard of customer service across the business. This is a fast-paced role that would suit someone who enjoys problem-solving, building strong relationships and delivering excellent service while managing multiple priorities.
