Labor & Education Underwriting Team

, the intern will work closely with experienced underwriters and business professionals to support both new business and renewal underwriting activities. Participants will gain valuable insight into how underwriting decisions impact business growth, customer retention, profitability, and overall organizational performance. The program provides hands-on training and exposure to a variety of career opportunities within Underwriting, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Sales Support, and Healthcare Operations. Interns will contribute to meaningful projects involving account pricing, reporting, data analysis, process improvement, and underwriting tool development while building a strong foundation in financial and business decision-making. Typical responsibilities include assisting with pricing and risk evaluation for new and renewal business, supporting client reporting activities, analyzing financial and business data, participating in projects designed to enhance underwriting tools and processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business objectives. Through mentorship, project-based learning, and professional development opportunities, participants will strengthen their analytical, communication, and business skills while gaining valuable underwriting experience.
