Must-Have:

• Experience in various surgical procedures including but not limited to orthopedic, general surgery, urology, bariatrics, and robotics specialties
• Knowledge of decontamination and sterilization processes
• Ability to handle specialty surgical equipment

Description:

Weekend call is required. Weekday call is required every 4-6 days. Weekend call includes 2-3 shifts, which may require 24-hour coverage on Saturdays or Sundays. First-time applicants are accepted for this position. Local candidates are welcome to apply. Must comply with scheduling restrictions noted upfront during the application process. The facility has a total of 189 staffed beds. Daily average surgical case volume ranges from 25 to 35. Candidates should be competent in using varied surgical equipment depending on proficiency level. Candidates must be able to float to nearby facilities as needed. References covering the last three years of experience are required. Travelers may be expected to float between facilities. Refusal to float may result in the termination of assignment. Candidates are responsible for their own communication devices as needed to perform duties. Submission of references is mandatory prior to the start of the contract.
