Job Title Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - Cardiac Interventional Radiology (Job ID #P-715841L) Overview An Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience is needed for a 13‑week local contract assignment at an academic medical center in Portland, Oregon. Assignment Details Location: Portland, Oregon Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week (4 x 10‑hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) Start Date: June 22, 2026 Shift: Days (4x10 hrs) On‑call: Average 4–6 per month Floating: May be required to float to a nearby affiliate hospital; refusal may result in contract cancellation Contract type: Local Contract Responsibilities Provide direct patient care using medical imaging techniques in an Interventional Radiology department. Assist interventionalists with procedures including central line placements, embolizations, stroke interventions, and a broad range of vascular and non‑vascular cases. Perform and assist with radiographic procedures to visualize structures for interpretation and therapeutic intervention. Maintain radiation safety for patients and all team members during procedures. Work collaboratively with physicians and nurses to deliver high‑quality patient care. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience operating radiologic equipment or equivalent training. Current ARRT certification and BLS required. OBMI certification required. Active Oregon license required if applicable. Epic EMR experience required. COVID‑19 vaccination proof required – no exemptions accepted. Two manager or supervisor references within the last 24 months (RN charge references not acceptable). Additional Information Patients range from neonates to geriatrics. First‑time travelers should check eligibility with recruiter; previous employees or travelers must have been away for at least 6 months to return.
