Job Summary:
The Springfield, Illinois based Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Level I trauma center at an acute care hospital. This position involves supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in a busy 5-room unit. Candidates must bring their active Illinois license on the first day of employment. The role requires providing care during complex cardiac procedures and monitoring patients undergoing sedation, with a focus on interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.

Job Details:

• Position / Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory RN (CCL)
• Shift: 3x12 Days, 0630-1900
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours weekly.
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license in hand, minimum 1 year of relevant experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, BLS and ACLS certifications, Cerner experience, and familiarity with procedures such as adult diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, left heart catheterizations, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and right heart catheterizations.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an acute care hospital setting; prior trauma center experience is a plus.
• Additional Information: The position involves floating within scope as needed, including potential to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities. The candidate must be willing to work two of the three major holidays. The assignment starts on 07/20/2026, with orientation and compliance requirements to be completed within one week of contract signing. RTO restrictions are ideally no more than 5 days. Vaccination compliance includes a required flu vaccine, with medical or religious exemptions only.
