MedSurg RN - Day Shifts

Location: South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, days from 07:00 - 19:30.

Job Description: We are seeking a MedSurg RN to provide excellent patient care in a general medical surgical unit. The position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within the team while managing a varied patient load.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient health and administer medications as prescribed.
• Provide telemetry monitoring for patients eligible for such care.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to assure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Participate in rapid response and code team situations when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of MedSurg RN experience preferred.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand is required prior to start.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
• Epic charting system experience required.
