ABOUT THE COMPANY: Securemedy is a reputable, and rapidly growing security services provider. Our primary services include security guard and patrol services, professional services, security escort services, security consulting, electronic security, shuttle van services, investigations & surveillance, and executive protection services. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Senior Operations Manager position will provide support to the Director of Operations and assist in the day-to-day oversight of operational tasks for the DC/MD Region and DC Citywide contracts via the Operations Manager and Operations Supervisor respectively, in addition to being exclusively assigned as the Program Manager for The Community Partnership (TCP). Primary oversight of the Accounts will be to enhance field site operations for the purpose of maintaining contractual staffing requirements, site proficiency, supervisory oversight, and quality assurance. The Operations Manager and Operations Supervisor will report directly to the Director of Operations. These positions will maintain full authority over personnel assigned and communication with their assigned clients. Any issue will be reported to the Director of Operations, who will task the Sr. Operations Manager with any necessary action. Corporate Requirements: • The standard duty hours are 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday with immediate accessibility and availability during off hours (24/7). • Professional business attire is required when visiting the field, suit and tie. If conducting office work on Friday, business casual is acceptable – slacks, polo shirt. However, be prepared with business attire should a field visit be required. • The base of operations is the corporate office, but the expectation is that majority of time is spent in the field visiting clients/post. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : • Provides real-time support to field operations (The Community Partnership, DC Citywide and DCMD Region Accounts) for the purpose of ensuring all sites meet staffing requirements via managing work schedules, incoming sickness, and emergency call outs from assigned security personnel scheduled to work daily work shifts. • Communicate the daily operations status of security sites to the Director of Operations, to include notification of staffing shortages, site deficiencies, safety hazards, and/or clients concerns, etc. • Review Track Tik software application daily and provide real-time feedback to Site Supervisors and Operations Managers, pertaining to any significant safety and operations matters in the field, requiring a supervisor’s immediate attention, to include notification of such matters to the Director of Operations, in real-time as warranted. • Daily review completed Quality Control (QC) Reports for accuracy and completeness from TCP and DCMD Region Accounts and immediately bring to the Director of Operations attention any deficiencies noted to include non-compliance by site officers and supervisors who fail to complete Quality Control Reports, as required. • Manage all notifications generated within Linxup GPS Tracking Solutions and report any significant notifications to Site Supervisors, Operations Managers, Program Managers, and the Director of Operations real-time for immediate supervisory action and investigative purposes. • Monitor all assigned Dash Cam Solution notifications of assigned company-wide fleet vehicles and immediately bring to the Director of Operations attention any safety hazards and non-compliance to company policies pertaining to driving company owned vehicles. The monitoring of Dash Cam Solutions should include the tracking and notification of excessive speeding and reckless driving amongst Securemedy personnel assigned company vehicles. • Conduct daily Payroll reviews of TCP, DC Citywide and DCMD Region Accounts, following payroll data entries by Site Supervisors, Operations Managers, and Program Managers. Each site is required to complete daily payroll entries and ensure the accuracy of all entries. Following the review of each site’s daily payroll entries (WinTeam), report any noted deficiencies to the Director of Operations for situational awareness and management action(s) required to address non-compliance and/or the noted deficiency. • Assist the Director of Operations in conducting company-wide payroll reviews to ensure the accuracy of the payroll before final submission to the Finance Department. • Maintain record of all noted deficiencies for all the above listed duties and responsibilities amongst all security sites, for follow-up and management action(s). • Maintains knowledge of technical innovations, trends, and best practices; make recommendations for new software and hardware. • Develops training materials and/or provides onsite training as requested. • Perform other necessary duties as assigned. ROUTE SOFTWARE: The successful candidate will provide support in maintaining the functionality and troubleshooting issues related to the following devices: • Track Tiks • Linxup GPS Tracking Solutions • Dash Cam Solution DESIRED SKILLS: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. • Thorough understanding of technology commonly used by clients and employees. • Ability to explain technical problems to nontechnical employees. EDUCATION : • Associate degree or two years of education required; Security or Management related Certification, Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Two years of work experience may be substituted for each year of education. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Prolonged periods in a vehicle, walking or standing up to 8 – 12 hours at work sites or on post.
