Mold Maintenance Technician

Job TitleBasic Position DutiesAssemble/disassemble molds following applicable work instructions and blueprints.Perform overhauls (Preventative Maintenance); Parts fitting and shape mold components in accordance to training guidelines and understand parts mating, position and function.Perform quality assurance check on all fabricated tooling.Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.Prepare required documentation (i.e. tooling work orders, quality inspection reports, etc.)Insure proper verbal/written communication with other departments in regard to mold activities.Perform all job duties per OSHA guidelines, safety rules and housekeeping requirements and insure other maintenance associates follow the proper guidelines, rules and requirements.Perform other duties as assigned.Position RequirementsTwo Year Machine Tool Technology degree, or 1-3 years on the job experience with injection mold maintenance. Must possess fine motor skills for handling delicate components and be able to perform frequent pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying; must possess excellent oral & written communication skills. Must be willing to learn and be able to work at a fast pace.
