Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Telemetry – Travel Contract

Libertyville, IL | 13-Week Contract | $2,500/week

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

We're hiring experienced Med Surg/Telemetry RNs for a 13-week travel

contract at a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma Center in Libertyville, IL

(northern Chicago suburbs).

PAY PACKAGE

• Weekly Gross: $2,500

• Blended Rate: $69.40/hr

• W2 Rate: $16.00/hr

• Weekly Stipend: $1,924

• Hours: 36 hrs/week (12-hour shifts)

WHAT YOU NEED

• 2+ years of MS/Tele experience (we cannot accept 1-year candidates)

• Active Illinois RN license

• BLS and ACLS

• EPIC EMR experience required

• First-time travelers considered upon review

THE UNIT (36-bed Med Surg / Tele)

• Patient types: general PCU/cardiac/tele, post-cath lab, CHF, COPD,

pneumonia, basic wound care

• Ratios: RN 1:4 days / 1:5 nights; CNA 1:8

• Skills: general PCU/cardiac/tele, wound care, PIV start

• Telemetry: centralized monitoring with tele techs

• Support: HUC 24/7, charge nurse, phlebotomy, IV/VAT team until 10pm,

RT 24/7, hospitalist 24/7, wound care consults

SHIFT & SCHEDULING

• Days and Nights available

• 7:00am – 7:30pm (12-hour shifts), 36 hrs/week

• Weekend rotation: every other weekend

• Holidays: as xhyhwjd posted by the department

• Floating: to med/surg units

• No on-call
