Blood Cancer United's Big Climb Philly
Blood Cancer United
Big Climb Philly is a fundraising event for Blood Cancer United (formerly the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) where participants will climb the steps of Citizens Bank Park to take cancer down! Our event relies on volunteers to set up, be stationed during the event and break down so that Big Climb can be a success.
Volunteer opportunities include (but not limited to):
- Water stop volunteer – fill cups of water and distribute to climbers along the route
- Route volunteer – direct climbers on the route
- Summit club (VIP club) volunteer – check stickers on climbers’ bibs to grant them access to Summit Club
- We also have various activations/activities that will require a volunteer to stand at (a Kid’s Zone, Food & Beverage, areas where people will be decorating their bibs and using spirit wear to get ready to climb) and restock things like stickers, beaded necklaces, etc.
