Position: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team for a night shift position. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Job Description

The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in cardiac, stroke, and trauma imaging. Experience with Siemens equipment is essential. Candidates without this specific experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans of various body parts, including abdomen, chest, and head with and without contrast.
• Administer contrast media as required for procedures.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including isolation precautions and PPE usage.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, respiratory services, and radiology.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records within the required charting system.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in CT and Radiography is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably with trauma imaging in a Level I or II trauma center.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is mandatory.
• Ability to manage and support other team members as needed.

Patient Care Details

• Experience with a diverse patient age group, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a high volume of patients.

Additional Information

• Orientation: 36 hours required.
• Floating to other units may be required based on census needs.
• Modules are billable, and completion is necessary prior to the start date.
