Strong understanding of special education procedures, including evaluation, eligibility determination, and IEP development. Ability to interpret assessment data and develop individualized treatment plans. Effective collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage time effectively and maintain accurate documentation. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed. Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success. Participate in child study meetings, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements. Provide consultation and training to staff regarding communication strategies and supports.
